Alice Jean (Strickland) Cooley

 Alice Jean Cooley, a native of Eight Mile and resident of Semmes, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 5, 2021, surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Leon Cooley and Charles Craig, her parents, Maynard (Alberta) Strickland, her brother, Gordon Strickland, and a grandson, Ethan Craig.

 She is survived by her children, Chuck Craig, Chad (Monica) Craig, Bert (Amanda) Craig, Alisha (Randy) Madaris, one sister, Maylean Powell, one brother, Junior Strickland, nine grandchildren, Taylor (Cole) Stanley, Ashley (Caleb) McDonald, Hali Craig (Josh Hurtt), Dakota Craig, Allan Craig, Chance Madaris, Abby Craig, Ciara Craig, and Alli Madaris. nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family would like to thank Chelsea Kountz and Saad Hospice for all the time and support throughout our journey.

 Visitation will be held on Monday, March 8, 2021 from Valhalla Memorial Funeral Home from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Chapel services will follow at 2:00 pm with interment in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
