Alice Carol Cox

 Alice Carol Cox of Saraland, AL passed away at the age of 77 on July 15, 2020. She was born on May 12, 1943 in Harold, FL to Horace and Ida Hatcher.Growing up Carol was a cheerleader for Vigor High School, after graduating she married her high school sweetheart. Carol was greatly loved by anyone who was blessed to know her. She will be greatly missed and her memories will be cherished forever. Carol was a homemaker and devoted wife and mother who always went above and beyond to take care of her family. Carol was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Benny Cox, and her sister Peggy Haggard.

 She is survived by her three children; Steve Cox, Danny (Anita) Cox, and Gary Cox. She leaves behind two brothers; Donnie (Patsy) Hatcher and Johnny (BJ) Hatcher, as well as 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

 Funeral services will be held from Valhalla Funeral Home on Friday, July 17, 2020 at 12:00 pm.The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm. The interment will immediately follow in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
