Alyson Irene Wassman, age 19 months, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas. After struggling with her congenital heart disease her whole life Jesus came and put his arms around her and took her pain away.
Alyson was born on February 16, 2020 in Beaumont, Texas. She was such a sweet and strong little girl, also known as Aly-bug to family and had the sweetest little smile and big beautiful blue eyes. She absolutely loved Curious George and having a cloth in her mouth. She would play peek-a-boo with her brother and sister and hide her face with her cloth but would always keep the cloth in her mouth.
Alyson is survived by her mother and father Abby and Matthew Wassman of Tanner Williams, her sister and brother Autumn and Mason Wassman. Grandparents, Nancy (Rick) Hackworth and Cathy (Howard) Shell. Great grandparents Annie Merle (Carrol) Williams, Charlotte (James) Reeves and Barbara Reeves. Great-Great Grandparent, Irene Reeves. Aunts and uncles Amy (Dale) Stokley, Kim (Johnny) McDuffie, Lisa (Jason) Phillips. Great aunts and uncles Jan Riley, Johnny Williams, Steve (Delynn) Williams, Susan Sansing and Boyd (Sharon) Reeves. Lots of cousins, family and friends. Alyson is preceded in death by her Grandfather Ward Kitzmiller, Uncle Paul Booth, Uncle Wayne Williams.
A memorial service will take place at Valhalla Memorial Funeral Home in Eight Mile, AL on October 22, 2021, starting at 10am for family and 11am for the public.
