Benny Darrell Cox

   Benny Darrell Cox of Saraland Alabama passed away at the age of 77 on February 4, 2020. He was born on December 7,1942 in Booneville, Mississippi to Woodrow and Dirlean Cox.

    Mr. Benny was happily married to his high school sweetheart Carol for 59 years.

    Mr. Benny loved spending time with family and friends. He had a passion for fixing and building various projects, including restoring old cars and trucks. He had a big sense of humor and the warmest heart. He touched many lives in the 77 years we were blessed to spend with him. He will be greatly missed.

    Mr. Benny is survived by his wife of 59 years; Alice Carol Cox, three sons Steve Cox, Danny (Anita) Cox, and Gary Cox, two brothers; Mike (India) Judge, Jesse (Linda) Cox, two sisters; Peggy Burcham, Brenda (Danny) Gentry, eight grandchildren; and several great grandchildren, and other family and friends.  

 Funeral services will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home on Monday, February 10, 2020 at 1:00 pm. Family will receive friends on Monday, February 10, 2020 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Interment will be in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
