Betty Joyce (Reeves) Biggs

     Betty Joyce Biggs entered Heaven’s gates on February 28, 2019 at the age of 78.  She is preceded in death by her father and mother, 2 brothers (Huebert & Billy Reeves), her husband, Reverend Ernest Biggs, her daughter (Ernestine Perry), her son (Jonathan Biggs), and her son in law (Larry Welch).  She leaves behind her 2 sisters, 5 children Yvonne Warren (Jimmy), Donald Ray Biggs (Leila), Guinette Lindsey (Donnie Earl), Ricky Biggs (Lucy), and Dorothy Wheelus, her daughter-in-law, Amanda Biggs, and her husbands best friend and son-in-law Johnny Perry, 16 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Granddaughter.  She served in the ministry alongside her husband in the Assembly of God Churches in Baldwin, Escambia, and Mobile counties for 40 of the 58 years of their marriage. She was a woman of faith & believed in prayer. 

     Services will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Calvary Temple in Saraland, Alabama.  Family visitation begins at 10:00 am.  Public visitation begins at 11:00 am, followed by a home going celebration at 1:00 pm.  Graveside will follow at Valhalla funeral home in Eight Mile, Alabama.
