BILLY EUGENE FISHER

   Billy E. Fisher, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather passed away on Monday, January 18, 2024. Billy was born in Saraland, Alabama and has been a lifelong resident of Mobile and Semmes, Alabama

   Billy spent his career performing work as a Sheet Metal Tradesman, first working with roofing and HVAC companies. While working at these Union Sheet Metal companies, Billy became involved in his Union by serving as President of Sheet Metal Workers Local 441. Later, Billy worked as Sheet Metal Workers Local 441 training coordinator and eventually served at the top spot of Local 441 as Business Manager. Billy ended his career by working on staff for the Sheet Metal Workers International Association. Billy has spent the last 20 years enjoying his family and his Union retirement. Billy was preceded in death by his mother, Susie Fisher and his father, Clyde Fisher. Also, his brother Sonny Fisher.

   He is survived by his loving wife Sharon Fisher, sons Woody Fisher and Tommy Fisher (Cheryl). Two daughters, Sheri Fisher and Pam Franks (Brad). Billy has 5 grandchildren, Thomas Fisher, Chelsea Fisher, Brittney First (Patrick), Dylan Franks, and Colby Foskey. Billy has 4 great grandchildren, Collin, Lillie Ann, Rowan, and Charlotte. Billy has 2 surviving sisters, Joan Dunnam and Joyce Maples, and many nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends.

   The family viewing will take place on Monday, January 22, 2024 from 11:00 am-12:00 noon at Valhalla Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 8730 Sims Road, Eight Mile, Alabama. The family will receive friends at 12:00 noon – 1:00 pm with a Chapel Service and funeral to follow at Valhalla Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
