   Carol Bell Powell McNiel, age 82 a native and resident of Mobile, Alabama, departed this life and entered eternal rest on May 2, 2024.  She is preceded in death by a loving husband, James R. McNeil, one daughter, Jackie Pritchett, one son, Rev. Terry McNiel, one grandson, James “Boo” McNiel, one granddaughter, Christina “Nikki” McNiel, parents, Claude and Mary Powell, one sister, Jewel Smith, and a lifelong best friend, Joy Phillips

   She is survived by two sons Claude McNiel and Jeff (Brandi) McNiel, both from Mobile, seven grandchildren, Monica (Derek) Chestang, Justin Pritchett, Matthew Pritchett, Hunter McNiel, Angel McNiel, Autumn McNiel and Haley (Brandon) McNiel, four great grandchildren, Makayla Chestang, Courtney Chestang, Chloe Chestang and Branson Thrash, one sister, Claudine Harmon, One daughter in law, Rhonda McNiel, one son in law, Monty Pritchett, one former daughter in law, April Stewart, other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

   Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 7th, 2024 at 10:00 at Valhalla Memorial Funeral Home.  Service will begin at 11:00 with interment at Coleman Assembly of God Cemetary, located at: 4124 N. Butler Street, Frisco City, AL  36445.
