Carolyn Louise Biggs

    Carolyn Louise Biggs, age 80, passed peacefully on November 16, 2025, in her home in Irvington, AL. She was surrounded by the ones she loved the most as she made her way to The One who loved her most. Carolyn was born May 3, 1945, in Mobile, AL, to Robert and Grace Dixon. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Robert Fulton Dixon, Herbert Gordan Dixon, and James Ronald Dixon; sister, Mary Frances Livermore; nieces, Elizabeth Dianne Jobson and Barbara Ann Moore; nephew, Mark Anthony Dixon; her beloved husband, David Guin Biggs; and her precious daughter, Donna Elizabeth Lawrence. She is survived by her children, David Wesley Biggs (April), Carolyn Guin Biggs, and Lisa Marie Cramblitt; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a loving brother, Charles Dixon (Barbara Jean); a devoted sister, Barbara Harrison, and so many treasured nieces and nephews.

    Carolyn spent her life as a homemaker raising her four children, tending to her plants, and working in her yard. She loved her flowers and trees. She loved listening to her southern gospel and country classic music. She loved watching Alabama football, watching her favorite shows, while eating pounds of cheese puffs. She loved her snacks!  Even more, she loved to chat and tell stories, old and new, without leaving out the slightest of details. She had the memory of an elephant!  Most of all, though, she loved her family, friends, and Jesus! She loved time spent loving on her babies, big and small!! Oh, and the occasional grand-puppy visits.

    We will treasure your memory and love you always, Mom, Mawmaw, sister, aunt, and friend!

    A visitation will be held on Thursday November 20, 2025, at Valhalla Memorial Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A chapel service will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. at Valhalla Memorial Funeral Home, followed by interment at Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
