Charlotte Ann Burroughs (Scruggs) age 76 of Eight Mile Alabama passed away on Thursday March 24, 2022. Charlotte was born on March 28, 1945. Charlotte is preceded in Death by her parents Kenneth and Anna Lou Burroughs, her husband James R. Scruggs (Ronnie) of 45 years, brother R.T. Burroughs, sister Glenda Burroughs Farley.
She is survived by her loving Daughter; Deborah B. Thompson, Son; Wayne Brooks Jr. (Sharron), Grandchildren; Daniel Eugene Thompson (Jennifer), Brandon Trey Thompson (Samantha), Joshua James (Emily) Thompson, Brandi Brooks Lightfoot (Jeremy), Nicholas Brooks, Sena Brooks (Craig) Martin, Dougla G. Tamez, Sister; Shirley Mizell, brother-in-law; Wayne Mizell and twenty great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at Valhalla Memorial Funeral Home at 12 a.m. to 1 p.m. for family and friends. Chapel services will follow at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
