Christine Sykes Obituary

Christine Byrd Sykes, 87, resident of Wilmer, Alabama passed away on August 28, 2023. She was born on November 5, 1935. She is preceded in death by her husband, John William Sykes.

She is survived by her one daughter; Brenda (Ron) Shenesey, one brother; Sidney (Pauline) Byrd, three grandchildren; Jacob, Adam, Jonah, nine great-grandchildren; Claudia, Olivia, Cammon, Eli, Peter, Penelope, Henry, John William, and Charlie.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 11:00 - 12:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home. A funeral service will start at 12:00 PM with interment following in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
