Christopher James Huddleston, a devoted husband, father, and friend, passed away on November 4, 2025, at the age of 58. Born on May 29, 1967, in Oxford, Ohio, he was the beloved son of David Wright Huddleston and Mary Ellen Humphries. Chris's life was a testament to his unwavering commitment to family, community, and service.
Chris was preceded in death by his father, David, and his brother, Mark Wilson. He leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion, cherished by his wife, Storm Elizabeth Huddleston, and his mother, Mary Ellen Huddleston. His eight children also survive him: Chris Huddleston, Jessica Huddleston-Clark, Timothy Huddleston, Matthew Partin, Mike Partin, Mary Mullins, Reighlyn Garrett, and Avery Russell. His spirit will continue to shine through his seven grandchildren, who brought him immense joy and pride.
For over a decade, Chris dedicated his life to serving others as a member of the Emergency Medical Services and as a volunteer firefighter. His passion for helping people was evident in every aspect of his life, and he made a profound impact on countless families in his community. Chris's kindness, generosity, and selflessness will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Chris was not only a hero in his professional life but also a loving family man who cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. He had a unique ability to bring people together, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and love. His warmth and compassion will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to call him a friend or family member.
A graveside service to honor Chris's life will be held on November 7, 2025, at Lott Cemetery in Wilmer, Alabama, 36587 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
