Clinton B. Crawford “C.B.” age 75, a resident of Mobile County, passed away from COVID at Providence Hospital on Thursday, January 21, 2021. A graduate of UMS Preparatory School, C.B. enlisted in the United States Navy during Vietnam. He had a lifetime of experience in the Mobile area, notably 18 years with the GM&O/ICG Railroad and 29 years at Mobile County Commission’s Road & Bridge (Camp 1). He was a long-time member of Georgetown Assembly of God Church, and a current member of Pathway Church. He was gentle, kind, and full of wisdom and a passion for genealogy research. Together, he, Cindy, and their dog Sabastian began each day with coffee and morning prayers on the patio. He is already missed. Heaven how lucky you are and how blessed he is to be with his Lord and Savior in his heavenly home. He was preceded in death by his dearest first wife of 48 years, Sandra Collins Crawford, his sister, Linda Crawford Moberg, and his parents, Clinton B. Crawford, Sr. and Edith Caviness Crawford.
He is survived by his cherished wife, Cynthia Carter Crawford “Cindy,” his sons: Clint Crawford (Laura), and Chuck Crawford (Lisa); his grandchildren: Madison, Mya, Caden, Grayson, and Caleigh; and great-granddaughter, Eva Marie.
Funeral service will be held at Valhalla Memorial Funeral Home following a family visitation at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, January 27, 2021, with interment at Byrd Memorial Cemetery.
