Connie Deloris Hudson, a resident of Mobile, Alabama passed away on March 26, 2024. She was born on January 10, 1962. She attended Cottage Hill Baptist Church. Connie worked in retail grocery at Piggly Wiggly for 19 years. Connie was a big NASCAR fan and she always rooted for her driver Jeff Gordon. She loved classic country music. She was a fan of Alan Jackson, and she could often be heard listening to his recording of "The Old Rugged Cross ". She loved her FarmVille and was constantly planting and harvesting the crops on her farm. She is preceded in death by her father; Nelson Pierce James, mother; Sadie Grice James, sister; Vicky James McDonald, brother; Benny Nelson James.
She is survived by her husband of seventeen years; Rick Hudson, five children; Corey Wade Green, Brandon (Amanda) Green, Shelby Green, Jeremy (Kristen) Hudson, Christopher Hudson, , grandchild; Isabella Green, sister; Debbie (Shannon) Clemmons, brother; Kaven (Leslie) James, cousin; Eddie James, mother-in-law; Mildred Hudson, brothers-in-law; Jeff Hudson (Leah), Jim Hudson (Karen), sisters-in-law; Kathy Arrington (Mike) and Mary Price (Tommy).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM with service starting at 12:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
