Cynthia Marie (Deaton) Rachel

    Cynthia Marie Rachel, 71, of Semmes, AL, passed away peacefully at her home on September 27, 2025. She was born in Leavenworth, KS, on March 2, 1954, to the late Edward Deaton and Dorothy McAdams. She spent a lot of her childhood at the Speedy Mart Grocery that her mother and father owned and operated for many years.

    She is survived by her husband, Ralph Rachel; four sons, Chad (Joanna) Rachel, Ryan (Renae) Rachel, Nicholas (Amy) Rachel, Trent (Brittany) Rachel; one brother, Mike (Ramona) Deaton; six grandchildren, Hunter, R.J., Ryder, Annabel, Ruby, Emma.

    A visitation will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, at Valhalla Memorial Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a chapel service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be at Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
