Daniel Scott Lester

 Daniel Scott Lester, Sr., a resident of Wilmer, Alabama passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024. Daniel was born January 25, 1983. Daniel enjoyed life and having a good time. He always knew how to brighten someone’s day and put a smile on their face. He was a good friend, and a protector. You could find him watching Alabama football, playing a guitar or working on a car. He was a great mechanic and could fix or alter anything. He had many talents. Daniel is preceded in death by grandparents, Bill and Margie Lester, Luther and Minnie Stabler.

 Daniel is survived by his two sons, Daniel “Danny” Scott Lester, Jr. and Jameson Glenn Lester. Parents, Billy and Mary Lester, brother, Steven (Allyson) Lester, sister, Ashlea (Matt) Thompson, nephews, Matthew Thompson, Miles Lester, nieces, Madison Lester, Miranda Lester, Alayna Thompson and Annalea Thompson. Many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. His infectious hugs and smile will be missed, but all the memories will live on.

  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm from Valhalla Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
