Donna Gail Lane- Freeman, a resident of Citronelle, Alabama, died December 30, 2025, in her home surrounded by her loving family and friends at the age of 63. She was born on October 6, 1962, to Donald Lane and Thelma Ruth Lane (Creech) in Mobile, Alabama. She devoted her life to being a loving mother, grandmother, and wife. Her favorite thing to do was making Christmas magical. She loved crafting, especially making Christmas ornaments and decorations. She loved spending time with her children, but most of all her grandchildren. She and her husband, Donald Freeman, spent 26 wonderful years together. After they retired, they enjoyed traveling the country for a few years. She got to see many beautiful places. She was blessed to be a member of 2 churches full of wonderful friends and family, Faith Works Baptist Church in Wilmer, AL, and Calvary Baptist Church in Citronelle, AL.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Freeman; her children, Brandon Lane, Brandy Nikole Murphy (Levi), Brittany Fisher, Brittan Ivy (Brittany), Amber Morse (James), Brandy Lynn Freeman; and 15 Grandchildren, Harley, Devon, Keara, Tyler, Piper, Hayden, Rhianna, Pacey, Mason, Kendyl, Paden, Parker, Zachariah, Raider, Chloe; siblings, Pam Lane, Kim Rogers, Richard Lane (Dana); and countless other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Lee (Dennis Leroy Minchew Jr.), and her parents, Donald Lane and Thelma Ruth Lane.

A visitation will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026, at Valhalla Memorial Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a chapel service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
