Earnest (Sonny Man) Leroy Phillips Jr. a resident of Wilmer Al. born February 2, 1943 passed away on, October 1, 2020. Sonny Man is preceded in death by Jake & Lena Phillips and Earnest Phillips Sr. & Annie Bell Phillips.

Sonny Man is survived by his wife of 58 years; Martha Phillips, four children; Daniel Phillips, Matthew Phillips, Susan (Corey) Mosley and John (Paloma) Phillips, two brothers; David (Bonnie) Phillips and Gerald (Jinny) Phillips, 12 grandchildren; Shanda, Aaron, Maranda, Josh, Jacob, Victoria, Corey, Katherine, Chase, Chance, Jessica and Robin, numerous great grandchildren, and other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at 12:00 pm from Valhalla Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm. Interment will be in Wolf Ridge Cemetery.
