Emma Louise (Sumerlin) Sprouse

   Emma Louise Sumerlin Sprouse, 91, of Mobile Alabama, passed away at the Retreat Hospice in Mobile, Alabama on March 15, 2023. She was loved and adored by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was born on June 28. 1931 to Lelia Mae Sullivan and Eugene Hunter Vaughn. Louise was a sweet, loving mother, grandmother and friend to many. She had a witty and wonderful sense of humor. She's preceded in death by Harold Waite, Ronnie Sprouse, parents; Eugene Hunter Vaughn, Lelia Mae Vaughn, sister; Elouise Smith, brother; Marion Vaughn, Marvin Vaughn, Glenn Vaughn, Carl Vaughn and Robert Vaughn. Followed in death by her son, Terry Sumerlin.

   She's survived by her brother; Donald Vaughn, children; Sharon H. (Mack) Taylor, Karen Ladnier, Steven Sumerlin, Patricia Joann (Kevin) Quinley, Danny (Cara) Waite, Shane Sprouse (Lisa Necaise), 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, extended family and loving friends.

Pallbearers will be Danel Waite, Hunter Waite, Matthew Ladnier, Matthew Ladnier Jr., Matthew Taylor and Jimmy Spafford.

   Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM on Friday, March 24, 2023 with a visitation one hour prior to services at Valhalla Memorial Funeral Home in Eight Mile, Alabama. Interment will follow at Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
