Frankie Jean (Bentley) Hamilton

Frankie J. Hamilton, 82, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home, on December 1, 2025, in Saraland, Alabama. Born on February 3, 1943, in Mobile, Alabama, she lived a life rooted in faith, family, and love.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Frankie was the heart of her family. She is lovingly remembered by her sons, Kevin Strickland and his wife Jessica, James Strickland and his wife Chris, and Anthony Strickland. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Joshua, Kayla, Jacob, Christopher, Nathan, Maddie, Danielle, Austin, Denese, and Jordan. She held each of them close to her heart and cherished her role as “Nanny,” embracing every moment spent with them.

Frankie was preceded in death by her beloved husband Shirley Hamilton; her sister, Dorothy Ann Caton; her grandson, Justin Strickland; and daughter-in-law, Becky Strickland. Their memories remained a constant source of strength and comfort throughout her life.

A woman of unwavering faith, Frankie was a longtime member of Lott Road Assembly of God Church. Her devotion to Jesus guided every aspect of her life.

May her memory bring comfort to all who were blessed to share in her life. A visitation will be held on Monday, December 8, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 01:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home located at 8730 Sims Rd, Eight Mile, AL 36613, followed by interment at Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
