Freddie Lynn Pollard

    Freddie Lynn Pollard, born on December 24, 1958, in Mobile, AL, was called to his eternal home on January 27, 2025, at the age of 66. He was the son of the late Joseph and Loraine Pollard. A beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, Freddie was cherished by all who knew him.

    Freddie lived a life filled with love, kindness, and unwavering dedication. He was known for his generosity, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. His passion for fishing and working outdoors brought him endless joy, but above all, his heart belonged to his family. A devoted husband, father, and friend, Freddie’s warmth and love touched everyone he met. His legacy of compassion and hard work will be treasured forever.

    Freddie is survived by his loving wife, Jessie Pollard (Rodgers); his children, Melissa Davis (James), Ernie Roy (Lisa), and Cris Bennett; his sister, Brenda Heaton (Pollard); and his nephews, Jody Irby (Lisa) and Kelly Heaton. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, and nieces who will forever cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Loraine Pollard, and his sister, Debbie Williamson.

    A service to honor and celebrate Freddie’s life will be held on Monday February 3, 2025, at Valhalla Memorial Funeral Home. Family visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a visitation for friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with a service to follow.

    Freddie touched countless lives and will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May he rest in peace.
