REV. GEORGE H. ALLEN

   Resident of Semmes, Alabama, born in Fouke, Arkansas on August 27, 1935 left this life on October 4, 2021. He was preceded in death by: His loving wife of 62+ years, Sis. Jerrie Allen (Eva Jearlene Sanders Allen) A 2-year-old baby daughter, Georgia Lanette Allen; His son, Steve Eugene Allen; His parents: Asa Huther Allen & Jocie Mae Thomason Allen; Five sisters:  Barbara Allen, Margie Colby, Dorothy Lewis, Martha Norton & Evelyn Mitchell; One Brother, Jack Allen.

   He is survived by One daughter, Renaee (Rev. Terry) Havens; Four grandchildren: Beverly (Gary) Holly, Dewayne (Heather) Havens, Bradley Allen, Jana (Derick) May; Ten great-grandchildren: Brittany, Samantha (deceased), & Naomi Holly, Lailah, Lannah, and Layton Havens, Savannah & Hendrix Allen, Sawyer & Jocie May; Three Brothers: Elwyn (Mary Jane) Allen, Yewoul Allen, Horace Allen, Two Sisters: Eunice Hawkins & Colleen Pate. A lot of nieces and nephews, and a host of friends. Together, Bro. George and Sis. Jerrie Allen had 61 years of ministry. Over the years, they have pastored several churches: Fouke Holiness Church, Fouke, Arkansas, Bokchito Holiness Church, Bokchito, Oklahoma, Allentown Holiness Church, Semmes, Alabama,  Arcata Holiness Church, Arcata, California, Tanner Williams Holiness Church, Wilmer, Alabama, Chelsea Holiness Church, Chelsea, Oklahoma, South Mission Holiness Church, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Turnerville Holy Church of God, Chunchula, Alabama, When not pastoring, he served as an Evangelist. He was loved by many. We will miss him dearly, but he is home now with his Lord and Saviour.

   Visitation to be on Friday, October 8, 2021 from 11:00-12:00 at Valhalla Memorial Funeral Home & Gardens 8730 Sims Rd, Eight Mile, AL 36613 Home-Going Celebration to begin at noon at Valhalla Chapel. Interment to follow in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
