George Hugh “Buddy” Roberts, age 67, a native of Birmingham, AL and resident of Mobile, died Monday, Nov. 19, 2012 in a local hospital.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Doris Odom Roberts.

He is survived by a daughter, Darlene Roberts; three sons, Michael (Angie) Roberts, Jeff (Cheryl) Roberts, and Steven (Crystal) Roberts; his mother, Mary Lois Moody; two brothers, Paul (Louise) Roberts and Tom (Kathy) Roberts; one sister, Sue (Richard) Austin; eight grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from Valhalla Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012 from 11:00 until 12:00 pm. Graveside services will follow at 1:00. Interment will be in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
