Gregory Delano Corley,63, of Semmes, AL passed away on Monday September 8, 2025. He was born in Mobile, AL on February 26, 1962, to the late Perry Corley and Monica Stringfellow.
He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Brad Corley and Lonnie Dees. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Jodi Corley; one daughter, Jessica Lankster; two sons, Casey Wiseman, and Lane (Hayley) Corley; eight grandchildren, Makayla Lankster, Summer Brock, Calleigh Brock, Rowan (Rowboat) Wiseman, Cazzie Dunn, Jazmine Tucker, Rylee Corley and Gregory (Trey) Corley III; one brother, Gary (Jeannie) Corley; two sisters, Donna Alexander and Sheila Johnson; two sisters-in-law, Liz Corley and Heather Dees; one son-in-law, Alvin Fabre IV; two daughters-in-law, Kalie Dunn and Candace Kountz as well as a host of aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Greg held many jobs during his lifetime, he was a sandblaster, a house mover, worked in the nursery industry, and was a deckhand on a tugboat. But the job he was most proud of was being a Paw Paw. He loved his grand babies beyond belief and made sure to tell each one that "you know you're my favorite". He was a fixture around the Fairview/Semmes community where he ran a fruit stand and garden center, selling everything from boiled peanuts to wooden swing sets and Christmas trees. You could find him on the side of the road selling watermelons and ferns during the summer months. He loved interacting with the public and making people laugh.
