James Ricky Bunch

James Ricky Bunch, 77, of Eight Mile, Alabama, passed away on December 13, 2025. Ricky was born on August 21, 1948, in Hattiesburg, MS. He was the son of Paul and Theda Bunch. 

Ricky joined the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War. He loved to hunt, fish, and go out and sing karaoke. He also loved spending time with his two grandchildren. 

Left to cherish Ricky’s memory are his daughter, Heather Criswell (Cody), grandchildren, Cody Jr., and Rayleigh Criswell, along with other family members

Ricky was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Bunch; son, Louie Lotz; father, Paul Bunch; mother, Theda Bunch; and two brothers, Tony Nix and Mark Bunch. 

Visitation will be held on December 23, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Valhalla Memorial Funeral Home, followed by a chapel service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
