James Douglas Gordon Jr.

James Douglas Gordon Jr., "Jimmy", of Daphne, AL, passed away on July 6, 2026. He was born in Mobile, AL, on June 18, 1959, to James Douglas Gordon Sr. and Mabelene Hamblin. He was a graduate of Mary G. Montgomery High School and worked for Rouse's Enterprises for 12 years.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Debra Gordon; six children, Jonathan (Candice) Gordon, Maria (Carl) Helm, Dana (Willard) Childress, Michael (Christine) Coburn, Rebekah (Terry) Schaeffer, Adam (Lacy) Gordon; one sister, Della (James) Johnson; and eighteen grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Valhalla Memorial Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a chapel service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be at Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
