James Scott Marlow

JAMES SCOTT (SCOTTIE) MARLOW
October 7, 1962 – September 18, 2021

   James Scott (Scottie) Marlow went to the Lord on Saturday, September 18, 2021. Scottie was a longtime resident of Creola, AL. Scottie was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth (Buck) Marlow and Lela Ann (Burkett) Marlow.

   He is survived by his companion of 35 years, Susan Rodgers, Jason Rodgers and Todd Rodgers. His brother Larry Marlow and his sister Lisa M. Ketchum (Vince Ketchum, Sr.) He's also survived by nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and many friends.

   Scottie was a millwright by trade. He originally worked in the dump truck business as his dad also was in the dump truck business. Scottie loved his animals, fishing on the delta and driving his race car.

   Visitation will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home in Eight Mile, AL on Friday, September 24, 2021 beginning at 11:00 a.m. Services will begin at 12 in the chapel. Graveside services will follow immediately after service at Creola Cemetery.
