With heavy hearts, we are announcing the passing of Jayla Annastacia Cook. She was a cherished daughter, sister, niece, cousin, grandchild, and friend. She was born on September 18, 2003, and spent her life spreading sunshine and light with rays of joy and kindness to everyone she met. She had a generous soul.
Jayla was a beacon of warmth, always offering a listening ear and a supportive shoulder. Her love for animals was surpassed only by her love for her family, whom she nurtured with the same care and attention she gave her animals.
She is survived by her parents, Burrell Jordan, Joseph Cook, and John Logan; her siblings, Jordan Hamilton, Katelyn Gordan, Dayla Logan, Zada Logan, and Dayton Logan; her triplets, Zoey, Smiley, and Ruby Jordan; grandparents, Shelby Jordan and Brian Jordan; aunts, Brandy Jordan and Brittney Jordan; her cousins, Brian Woods, Sophia Thomas, Shelby and Jackson Woods, Cloey Smiley, Justin and Nathan Wiseman, and Grant Jordan; friends who will continue to honor her memory by living the same grace and compassion she displayed every day.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Valhalla Memorial Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a chapel service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be at Indian Springs Cemetery. Donations can be made to her GoFundMe account or her mother's Cash App @ $choivhan or directly to the funeral home.
