Jerry Floyd Adams, Sr.

   
    Jerry F. Adams Sr was born on May 11, 1941 and he passed away peacefully on Thursday December 31, 2020 surrounded by his children. Jerry was a retired tug boat captain who enjoyed fishing, working in the yard, and having a good meal with family. 
    He was preceded in death by his sisters; Sandra Bennett, Kay Daniels, and Peggy Pittman and his parents; Lee Pittman and Fannie Gibson Pittman. 
    He is survived by his five children; Jerry "Buck" (Monique) Adams Jr., Roy Adams, Terry Adams, Barbara (Joey) Moody, Jessica (John) Smith. Three sisters; Fay White, Carol Ware, and Marsha Johnson. And twelve grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Danny Golden, Robbie Thompson, Aaron Adams, John Smith, Buck Adams, and Joey Moody. 
    Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Valhalla Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 12:00 pm following visitation. Interment will follow in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
