Jerry Stephen Booker

    Mr. Jerry Stephen Booker, age 67, of Mobile, departed to his heavenly home Thursday morning, January 23, 2025. He was born June 9, 1957, in Mobile County.

    Jerry’s kindness, selflessness, and wonderful sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him. Jerry found joy in working with his hands, sharing his talents framing and building homes all over Mobile. Jerry was easily depended on for his high-quality results and professionalism. Jerry was a passionate outdoorsman with a deep appreciation for nature. He was able to fulfill his adventurous spirit with pursuits in hunting and fishing while spending quality time with family and friends.

    Jerry is preceded in death by his father Stephen Jerold Booker, and his grandson Jeremiah Booker. He will be remembered with much respect and love by his mother Magdaline Booker, his siblings Steve (Helen), Perry, Kathy (Joe), and his children Jeremy (Kelly), Mary (Frankie), and Matt (Jacie). Jerry leaves behind a legacy of
grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many cherished friends.

    A wake will be held at Valhalla Funeral Home on Thursday evening, January 30th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. The funeral service will be held Friday January 31st at 11:00 a.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home. The family asks that if you have any special memories you would like to share to please write them down and bring them to the visitation as a keepsake.
