Jerry James Rester

     JERRY JAMES RESTER

          November 17, 1981 – April 3, 2023     

   Jerry James Rester aka J.J. left us behind on Monday, April 3, 2023 he was born on November 17, 1981 in Mobile, Alabama to Wanda and Harold Rester.

    He is survived by his two sons Jerry James Rester II age 18 and Harmon Bryce Strickland age 15 . He will be forever loved by his three siblings Rhonda Hyde, Harold Rester, and Pamela Rester. He resided in Semmes, Alabama and he enjoyed his city. Jerry was the kind of man you would want as your friend; he would give you the shirt off his back. Jerry loved his family and loved spending time with them. He enjoyed drag racing and driving fast race or no race, He won this race, he beat us to the heavens where he will be greeted by his mother, Wanda Rester, and father, Harold Rester Sr. Jerry spent his free time at the beach or fishing. His smile would light up a room.

 Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023, from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM from Valhalla Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
