Jerry Theodore Tew, Sr.

     On February 19, 2021 Jerry Theodore Tew, Sr. was called home to our savior, Jesus Christ. He was born on October 27, 1944. He graced us with 76 years of his presence. We will miss his contagious and loving personality so much.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Cordelia Tew, his son James Q. Tew, his sister, Virginia People’s, and a brother Willis Tew. 

    He is survived by his one son; Jerry (Jennifer) Tew, Jr., one daughter; Sonya (Joseph) Jones, one sister; Frieda James, nine grandchildren; Victoria, Tristen, Savannah, Lillian, Makayla, Jacob, Briana, James, Destiny, five great-grandchildren; Adaleigh, Emma, Nevaeh, Kyleigh, James, Jr. and many friends and family.

     A funeral service and open visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 from 11-12:00 pm. at Valhalla Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Valhalla Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, February 24, 2021.
