Joe Allen Hicks

    Rev. Joe A. Hicks of Eight Mile, Alabama entered his heavenly home on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at the age of 86. His loving wife of 22 years was by his side. He was a loving husband, father, pastor and friend born on August 16, 1934 in Philadelphia, MS. He was preceded in death by his parents; Walter A. and Gladys Hardy Hicks. 

    He is survived by his loving wife; Mary R. Hicks of Eight Mile, AL., one sister; Ms. Waltereen Bonniwell of Hurley, MS., four sons; Mike (Bonnie) Hicks; Robert Hicks, Stevie (Darlene) Hicks, all of Moss Point, MS and Jason Hicks of Mobile, Al., four daughters; Rev. Kim (Burt) Moreno of Oakley, California, Rhonda (Mickey) Powell of Moss Point, MS. Crystal (Robert) Gurley of Lincoln, AL., Regina (Justin) Ladnier of Biloxi, MS., and twenty three grandchildren and thirty five great-great grandchildren and one cherished grand daughter; Danica Hicks.

  Visitation will be held on Monday, March 8, 2021 from 5 PM to 8 PM and service Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Valhalla Funeral Home. Internment following in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
