John David Belcher

David Belcher, 66, resident of Axis, Alabama passed away on September 26, 2023 at home. David was a founding member of the South Alabama Trikers, VW Association. He loved building and working on trikes and buggies. He could often be found working in his shop, or someone else's shop, to tinker on things. He enjoyed mud riding and camping with family and friends. He loved his active lifestyle and spending as much time as possible with family. David was devoted to his family and would be the first to help someone in need. The family wishes to express their love and gratitude to family, friends, and Alabama Hospice for all the help, love, and support received. He is preceded in death by his son; John David Belcher and his parents; Jack & Lizzie Belcher.

He is survived by his wife; Freida Belcher, two children; Brandy Hall, Dustin (Tiffani) Marks, sister; Joyce (Matt) Shear, Jr., brother; Philip (Dinah) Belcher, six grandchildren; Chloe, Bentley, Zoey, Brody, Dylan, Nathan, four great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2023 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 29, 2023 with interment following in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
