John Harold McKee III

   After a long battle with congestive heart failure, John H. McKee III passed away peacefully in a comforting hospice facility in Mobile, Alabama on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at 12:07 AM. He was 56 years old when he passed. John (Johnny) grew up in Mobile, Alabama with his younger brother and his cousins (who were like brothers). A short time after graduating high school he voluntarily enlisted in the Army National Guard, where he served as a combat medic in Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Storm. After being honorably discharged, he got married to his now late wife, Misty McKee. They have two children, Jillian and John Dillon McKee IV. Johnny and his wife had an unmatched bond between one another, they lived to serve one another, inseparable, simply mad in love. After 29 years of marriage his wife suddenly passed away on August 11, 2020 after a brief battle with Covid-19 that ended with a ventilator malfunction. She was 50. 

   Johnny is survived by his two children: Jillian & John Dillon and his younger brother; Jeff McKee. The only battle he ever lost was death.

  Visitation will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022 from 11:00 - 12:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM in Valhalla's Chapel. Internment will follow in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
