John Sherman Obituary

John Edward Sherman, 78, of Escatawpa, MS, passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021. John was born May 25, 1943 to the late John and Ruth Sherman. He loved square dancing, camping, going to the gym, nice cars, and spending quality time with his wife, Faye Sherman. He loved the New Orleans Saints. John was retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his son, Edward Keith Sherman and daughter, Amanda Janine Sherman.

He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Faye Sherman of Mobile; children, John (John John) Everette Sherman, Edwin Devon Sherman; bonus children, Allen Connert, Deborah Connert Reynolds; grandchildren, Mallory Sherman, Hunter Sherman, Dakota Sherman, Jordan Sherman, Justin Sherman, Emily Sherman, Stephanie Givens, Kristin Hallo, Casey English, Peyton Culbertson, and Gunner Reynolds; sisters, Lu James, Evelyn Windham, Deborah Litzenberg; along with numerous great grand children, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

We will hold a celebration of John’s life at a later date.
