Judy Juanita McKee, a lifelong resident of Wilmer, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at approximately 8:00 a.m. while at Providence Hospital. Judy was known as a sweet and loving woman. She enjoyed the simple things in life, especially spending time with her family, particularly her children and grandchildren. She loved her morning coffee and being outdoors. While working at the Country Store, Judy formed many lifelong friendships and built close relationships within the Tanner Williams community. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Andy Copper McKee Jr.; her parents, Rosalee and Price Wheeler; her sister, Annie Young; and her brother, Joseph "Bud" Wheeler.
Her children survive her, Andy Cooper McKee III and Scotty Allen McKee; her grandchildren, Felisha LaShay McKee and Scott "Murray" McKee; her siblings, Joann Riley, Lee (Larry) Havens, Mary (Thomas) Wittner, and Bubba (Joan) Wheeler; along with many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a chapel service at 12:00 p.m. at Church of the Lord's Disciples (Church on the Hill), 11095 Catherine Creek Dr., Mobile, AL 36608. Interment will take place at Pierce Creek Cemetery, 9169-9179 Tanner Williams Rd., Mobile, AL 36608.
