Kathy Teresa Vance Aged 69, passed peacefully in the home she had grew up in surrounded by family on February 27th, 2024. Born June 3rd, 1954, in Fort Bliss Texas, she was the daughter of Garlon Brewer and Ondie Dykes Brewer. Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Garlon Brewer, mother, Ondie Dykes Brewer, brother Hugh Garlon Brewer and son Scott James Vance. One thing Kathy loved to do in her younger days was anything to do with the horse shows which included barrel racing, horse racing and traveling for the Dixie stampeders. There was always family involved when it came to the horse shows, no one got left behind and that was her life for 40 plus years, and in those years, she made so many friends and even considered some family at the Louisiana quarter horse association! When it came to her grandchildren there was nothing, she wouldn’t do for them, if she would have had the power to give them the world she would! She was someone who could always be counted on when it came to anything!
Kathy will leave behind a legacy and her heart will live on through her loving husband, James (Jimmy) Vance, daughter, Angela Nicole Vance, grandson, Mason Terry Mcpherson, and granddaughter Miranda Ondie Vance. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend. She was loved by so many countless friends and family and will be deeply missed!
