Lana Jo Wall

    Lana Jo Wall, 57, of Semmes, AL passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, September 13, 2025. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee on February 2, 1968, to Roy Mitchell and Francis Joleen Hallmark and was adopted by George Peter and Marie Woodruff Maxey. She spent her childhood in New Bern, North Carolina and later graduated from Kingsford High School in Iron Mountain, Michigan. She eventually moved to Mobile, Alabama in 1990.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Mitchell and Francis Joleen Hallmark; her father, George Peter Maxey; brothers, Wayne Hallmark, Jerry Hallmark; sister, Teresa (Kevin) Barry; father-in-law, Donald Wall.

    She is survived by her husband, Elba Ernest Wall II; mother, Marie Maxey; mother-in-law, Doris Wall Miller; children, Kyle (Veronica) Wall, Erin Wall, Evan Wall; grandchildren, Owen Wall, Madison Wall, Emma Jolee Wall; brothers, Mike (Sherry) Hallmark, Andy (Susan) Maxey, Scott (Kim) Maxey; sister, Mia (Derek) Newell; sister-in-law, Dapha (Ronnie) Gibson; close friend and caregiver, Betty Tolbert along with numerous nieces and nephews.

   A visitation will be held on Tuesday September 16, 2025, at Valhalla Memorial Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be on Wednesday September 17, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. followed by interment at Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
