Linda "Sue" Pearson Adcox

March 21, 1945 - August 26, 2023

   Mrs. Linda "Sue" Pearson Adcox, 78, of Semmes, Alabama passed away from this life on Saturday, August 26, 2023 peacefully at her home in Semmes, after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Mobile Alabama on Wednesday March 21, 1945, at Providence Hospital to Albert Pearson and Mable Autrey Pearson. She retired from Bender Shipbuilding where she worked in accounting. Sue was a sweet genuine woman who enjoyed spending time with her family. She also loved making ceramics, reading novels, and playing cards. Her memory, her faith and her strength will live on through her loved ones. She's preceded in death by her former spouse, Larry Stewart, brothers, Don Autrey, Glynn McGilberry, sisters, Tonya Joyce, Zina McGilberry, and granddaughter, Tes Stewart.

   Sue is survived by her husband; Larry Adcox, daughters; Michelle Pardue, Melissa (Lamar) Brooks, son; Les (Missy) Stewart, sisters; Jean Pearson Graham, Lynn (Lynn) Baugh, brother, Johnny McGilberry, grandchildren; Jeffery (Jennifer) Draughon, Shelby (Joe) Beard, Brandie Draughon, Kristen Walker, Katelynn Stewart  Lauren (Jacob) Russell, Luke Walker, Kelsey (Drake) Atkinson, Justin (Julia) Brooks, Jason Brooks, great-grandchildren; McKenzie, Emma, Cooper, Rylee, Tyler, Zoey, Chloe, Bella, Delta, and Anniston.

   Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 from 12:00 - 1:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home. A funeral service will start at 1:00 PM with interment following in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
