Michael “Mike” Glenn Hallman, 62, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2026. Born on July 22, 1963, he was the son of the late James Hallman and Lou Evan Robertson, whom he adored deeply. Mike was a proud momma’s boy, and Lou Evan remained his hero throughout his life.
Mike loved his family fiercely and was the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He had a larger‑than‑life personality, a contagious laugh, and a gift for cutting up and picking with everyone around him. His presence could fill a room, and his joy was impossible to ignore.
A true Alabama football fan, Mike cheered on the Crimson Tide with unmatched passion. He also loved NASCAR—especially Dale Earnhardt—and never missed a chance to talk racing. Growing up on Fowl River shaped much of who he was. He loved to fish, spend time on the water, and enjoy seafood every chance he got.
Mike was a legend in the landscaping industry, known for his skill, dedication, and love for the work he did. But above all, his greatest pride and joy came from being “PeePaw.” His grandsons were the light of his life.
He was preceded in death by his brothers P‑Nut and Jimmy, and his sister Linda.
Mike is survived by his children, Mikey Hallman (Kirstie) and Tiffany Smith (Gary); his brother, Billy Hallman; his sisters, Trish Hallman and Brenda Cooley (Greg); and his beloved grandsons, Grayson Hallman and Gavin Smith.
Mike Hallman lived boldly, loved deeply, and laughed loudly. His memory will continue to echo in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026, at Valhalla Memorial Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., followed by a chapel service at 12:00 p.m.
