Murray Rentz Gardner, Jr. "Big O" 87, a longtime resident of Wilmer, Alabama born on October 7, 1934 passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 6, 2022. He was 87 years old. Mr. Murray served many years in the Coast Guard where he later retired.

Mr. Gardener is survived by his son; Rick (Rose) Gardener and two grandchildren; Paul and Melanie.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at 10:00 AM in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
