Nancy Ann Hewett

   Nancy Ann Alexander Hewett a native and lifelong resident of Eight Mile, AL went to be with the Lord Friday June 9, 2023. Nancy was born September 10, 1944 to Eugene L. I and Kathleen Keebler Alexander Hall. Nancy was a registered nurse and worked at Mobile Infirmary many years before going to work at Searcy Hospital until retiring. Nancy is preceded in death by her parents Eugene L. Alexander I and Kathleen Keebler Alexander Hall, Brother Eugene L. Alexander II, sisters Lenora Stringfellow and Nita Maloy.

  She is survived by her devoted husband Tommy Hewett, daughter Terri (Mike) Williams, daughter Sherri Bohannon, son Adam (Mary) Helveston, daughter Toni Coffey, step sons Billy Joe (Terri) Sewell, James (Faye) Sewell and John E. Hewett. 8 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, brother Roger (Millie) Alexander, brother James (Tina) Alexander, sister Ellen Mosley, brother Dan (Jackie) Alexander, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Nancy touched many lives and will be truly missed.

  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Valhalla Funeral Home from 11:00 until 12:00 PM. Chapel service will be at held at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
