Nancy Diane Wilkinson

It is with profound love that we share that Nancy Diane Wilkinson passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus in the early hours of September 4th, 2025. Awaiting her there were her beloved husband, Robert Clarence Wilkinson, and her parents, Rev. Douglas “Buddy” and Pearline Slay.

Born on January 9th, 1953, Diane was 72 and a resident of Foley, Alabama at the time of her passing. She cherished her three sons, Robert “Bo” Wilkinson (Miranda), Eddie Wilkinson (Rachael), and Casey Wilkinson (Hope). Diane adored her six grandchildren, Robert Wilkinson (Zoe), Tara Wells (Rylan), Douglas Wilkinson, Wyatt Wilkinson, Emily Havard (Justin), and Brooke Wilkinson; and six great-grandchildren Brianna Wilkinson, Scarlett Wells, Zakri Wilkinson, Grayson Havard, Savannah Wells, and Madison Wells. She also held a deep love for a host of extended family, and her dearest friend, Jeanie Tilford.

Though we miss her here, our joy comes in knowing she is healed, and we will see her again.

Diane’s life will be celebrated on September 9th, 2025, at Valhalla Memorial Funeral Home in Eight Mile, Alabama. Visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m., with the service following at 12:00 noon. Burial will take place immediately after the service at Valhalla Memorial Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers are Robert Wilkinson, Douglas Wilkinson, Wyatt Wilkinson, Rylan Wells, Justin Havard, and David Moore.
