Patrick Joseph Nezat, Sr.

   Patrick Joseph Nezat, SR (87) a resident of Wilmer, Alabama Passed away on June 7, 2024. He was born on March 17, 1937 in Opelousas, LA. “Pat” served in the Navy and later worked at Dairy Fresh for over 40 years and was affectionately known as the whistling milkman. Pat enjoyed hunting, horses and later in life, sitting on his back porch watching wildlife in his back yard.

   Pat is survived by his wife of 68 years, Patricia Delores Thompson Nezat (Lois), his son's; Pat JR (Debra) Nezat, Bayne (Sandi) Nezat, Keith (Pam) Nezat, daughter; Gwen Patrick, brother; Gene Nezat as well as 11 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.

   Visitation will be held on Thursday June 13, 2024 from 11-12 at Valhalla Funeral Home. A funeral service will start at 12:00 with interment in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be his great grandsons: Timothy Daughtry, Hunter Wyse, Brett Nezat, Dylan Patrick, Joseph Daughtry and Brody Patrick.
