Rae Marie Webster, age 53, of Wilmer, Alabama, passed away at her home on November 27, 2025. Born in Warner Robins, Georgia, Rae grew up with a fiery spirit and a heart full of compassion—qualities that shaped every part of her life.
A proud graduate of MGM, Class of 1990, Rae dedicated much of her life to serving others. She volunteered as a firefighter with the Tanner Williams Fire Department and worked as both an EMT and Dispatcher for Mobile County EMS. Her commitment to helping those in need reflected her deep sense of duty and love for her community. Her compassion and steady presence made a lasting impact on those around her.
Rae adored her horses and dogs, finding joy and peace in the animals she cherished. She was known for her infectious smile and laugh—bright, warm, and impossible to forget. To those who knew her well, Rae was a true SPITFIRE: bold, spirited, and unapologetically herself.
She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Webster; her son, David Brown; her cherished grandson, Joseph Ray Brown, who brought her immense joy; her father, Jerry E. “Rusty” Holloway; and her sister, Robin Kyle. Countless Nephews and nieces
Rae was preceded in death by her mother, Peggy J. Holloway, and brother-in-law Mack Kyle.
Services honoring Rae’s life will be held at Valhalla Memorial Funeral Home, 8730 Sims Rd, Eight Mile, AL 36613 on Monday, December 8, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alabama Fallen Firefighters Association or to your nearest volunteer fire department, in recognition of Rae’s lifelong dedication to emergency service.
Rae’s memory will forever burn bright in the hearts of those who loved her.
