Robert James Varner

   Robert James Varner, 58, was born July 9, 1964, in Evergreen Alabama, to the late Ralph Varner and JoAnne Langham Bolton. In his spare time, Robert enjoyed watching Nascar, particularly, Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Dale Earnhardt Jr., cheering on Alabama football, listening to music, working on cars, at Alabama Auto Sales, underneath Mr. JR Reid, and being around his family and friends.

   Robert is survived by his daughter Amy Marie (Clay) Greene and his son James Lee (Davida) Varner, his brother Randall (Lillie) Varner, sister Margaret (Darin) Bohannon, and brother Ricky Varner, his grandchildren: Shane, Kyleigh, Timothy, Hunter, and Jessica, great-granddaughter Mckinleigh and numerous nieces and nephews. 

   A service to honor and celebrate Robert’s life will take place on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at 12 p.m. at Valhalla Funeral Home, 8730 Sims Rd, Eight Mile, AL 36613.  Visitation will be held prior to the service at 11 a.m. for extended family and friends.
