Robert "Rob" Grant Dickson

Robert “Rob” G. Dickson, 49, of Wilmer, Al. passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2020. He was born on March 12, 1971.

 Rob was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors. He spent many days hunting, trapping and on the water. Whether it was fishing or boating he was ready to go. He enjoyed the time he spent on his property in Wilmer where he had the luxury of all of natures bounties and made the most out of being there. In addition, he had a huge heart and was very devoted to his family and close friends.

  Rob was known to be a great cook and one of his greatest pleasures was cooking for his family and friends. His daughter Drew claims he was a magnificent cook!

 Robert is preceded in death by his father; Charles W. Dickson, and step father; Don Spence.

Robert is survived by his mother; Cindy Spence, daughter; Drew Dickson, and the man he has grown to love as a father; Danny Lyles. his cousins; Jason Clarke and Max Clarke Jr., who where more like his brothers,  and other Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and numerous friends.

 Visitation will be held Thursday, July 2, 2020 from 5:00pm to 7:00 pm at Valhalla Funeral Home, 8730 Sims Rd Eight Mile, Al. 36613. A private Graveside service for family only will be held on Friday July 3, 2020  In Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
