Ruth Mellerie Walters

Ruth Mellerie Walters, 85, resident of Eight Mile, Alabama passed away on September 13, 2023. She was born on May 11, 1938.  She's preceded in death by her Parents; Murry and Ally Busby, First husband; Raymond Shutz, Four brothers and three sisters; Daughter; Darlene (Mike) Lewis, Two Grandsons; Jeremy and Raymond, One Great Grandson; Raymond.

Mrs. Ruth is survived by her husband; Claude Walters, two daughters; Penny (Leonard) Hope, Tammy Sawyer, three grandchildren; Patrick Rivers, Mellerie (Shawn) Gerstenschlager, Michael (DeCee) Lewis, three great grandchildren; Victoria "CC", Adrian, Michayla.

 Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2023 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at Trinity Faith Church. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 1:00 PM with interment following in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
