Stevie Joe West

    Stevie Joe West, age 56, of Eight Mile, Alabama passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 9th, 2021 surrounded by his family and friends at his side. Stevie got saved and gave his life to the lord with his son Anthony present shortly before his passing. Stevie was so loved, he will be dearly missed by everyone. He loved the outdoors, especially when he was fishing, hunting and during football season when his favorite teams,  Alabama and the Miami Dolphins played ball. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; John I West (Syvelia) and his parents; Frank C. Andrews, Jr., and Debra D. Andrews.

    He is survived by his loving children; Anthony Swann (Lindsay) of Semmes, AL. and Debra Walser of Eight Mile, AL. Brothers; William Wallace (Shekindah) of Ocean Springs, MS and Dewayne Wallace (Holly) of Tampa FL. three grandchildren; Elijah Swann, MacKynlee Walser, and Josie Swann, a beloved nephew; Aaron Chambliss, and his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends who he loved very much. 

   An open visitation will be Saturday, February 13th, 2021 from 10:00 PM - 11:00 AM. with Valhalla Funeral Home. A funeral service will be followed at 11:00 AM as well as Internment in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.

A special thank you to our family and friends who visited, picked up meds, feeding us and all the prayers. Thank you to Saad's Hospice for their care and support over the last few months.
