Susan Rebecca (Flynt) Grant

   Pastor Susan Rebecca Flynt Grant " Nanny" was born November 21, 1950, in Calvert, AL to the union of the late Carl Flynt, Sr, and Billie Sullivan. Pastor Grant was the founder of W.O.R.D. Ministries Church was established in 2002 in Whistler, AL. Her anointing and mandate from God upon her life were to reach the hurt, abused, forsaken, shamed, rejected, and broken and release God's love, healing, hope, and deliverance unto them. Pastor Grant was an author, teacher, preacher, and Evangelist. Pastor Grant also founded W.O.R.D. Woman Ministries is a radio broadcast outreach ministry that aired weekly on WGOK 900 for 18 years, the mission was to reach the lost and empower the saved with the Word of God to live an overcoming life. Pastor Grant was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. and loved spending time with her family and friends.

   She is preceded in death by her son Michael Bullock and brother Carl Flynt, Jr.

   She leaves to cherish her memories of two loving and devoted daughters; Jada (Labarron) Lane, Samantha Bullock, both of Mobile, AL, one loving son; John Bullock, Sr. of Locust Grove, OK,  loving grandchildren; Alexis, Jadan, Brianna, Jaila, Candace, Laurie (Jeremy), Jonathan, Jasmine, Celeste, Brooklyn, and John Jr., nineteen great-grandchildren; Layla, Zy'Yah, Zion, Austin, Alexandria, Mason, Madison, Jakori, Joe, Ja'Kayln, Jace, Jordan, John, Jaelynn, Mckenzie, Kaiden, Harmonee, Stephanie, and Heaven, one great-great grandchild; Hadleigh, two loving sisters; Rosalind Flynt and Jennifer (Thomas) Rogers, one loving sister in law; Michelle Flynt, five loving nieces; Robyn, Anna, April, Jonell and Tina, five loving nephews; Michael, Stephen, Kenneth, Jason and Joshua, a host of loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 3, 2024 from 11:00AM - 12:00PM. at Valhalla Funeral Home. A funeral service will start at 12:00 PM with interment following in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
